We visited this location on Friday with a large party. Everyone was very accommodating and Noah went out of his way to take care of everything.
The food was great in taste and in Value. One of us has the special which was a delicious New York Steak. I personally had the Baked Brie and Crab Toast... Both of which were very good.
We did not have any drinks as we don't drink, however, the wine list was very large.
Can't wait to eat here again.

I enjoyed their service, the food and their wine selections. I am a bit disappointed they no longer serve cheeses and Charcuterie. They have different kinds of artisan pizzas and appetizers. I wish they have more selections when it comes to their main entre and desserts.

Great food! Looking forward to their upcoming weekly specials. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Our server was knowledgable on the menu items and made great drink recommendations.

OMG!!!! Best dining experience in Ventura County!!!!! I have to give it 5 stars because everything about it is absolutely perfect!!!!! I needed a place to refuel from a super busy day. From the minute you walk in the door the energy is positive and upbeat. The staff are all super friendly and engaging. So if you're in a hurry I suggest you let them know.

I had John as my server and he is so personable, professional, and fun!!! I suggest you ask for him when you go. The ambiance is peaceful, the establishment beautifully decorated, and the food was excellent. The chef, Nick, even goes from table to table making sure each guest is satisfied with their entree. So, it just doesn't get any better than that!!!!!

If you are prone to negativity and complaining, as is evident in some of these reviews, maybe stay home; or even better yet, take some Prozac.

Last night after a movie, I stopped in for a quick bite and a glass. The new MGR was charming. My ahi tuna sashimi was amazing even though it was not prepared by my favorite chef, Andrew. John really impressed me with his talent, and the manager is extremely professional. Love this place!

Having been to "The 805 Pour House" in old town Camarillo numerous times I find it to be a fun place in the afternoon, the owner (Dan) is there to greet his customers and carry on a fun conversation, the chef is great at preparing every thing to order so all is fresh, one recent visit an item on the menu wasn't available so he (the chef) made a nice plate of his own creation, the fellow in the ball cap (John) is always busy helping the chef or waiting tables but will take time to chat with a smile

I'm not sure what gives with all the recent negative reviews. It sounds like those people would be better suited for a restaurant with a nice long menu since they seem to think the Pour House's is too short. Maybe try Applebee's, sir.

My boyfriend and I went here and we happened to love it. In fact, it was probably the most smooth date night we have had. We are convinced that we are cursed with bad service everywhere we go, however, that was not the case here.

While the menu is not incredibly bulky, I actually prefer this since, from my experience, long menus seem to be indicative of poor food.

We had some Justin cab to drink (we had 5 glasses and should've just bought the bottle lol) which was excellent, my boyfriend had the soup as well as caprese salad, while I opted for the lamb sandwich I believe. It was all very delicious and came out in a timely manner. The owner was kind, a great conversationalist, and we were very excited that he showed off his Emmy to us.

For dessert we told our server to surprise us and he brought us the chocolate red wine truffles. They paired perfectly with the wine and if I could eat them every night I would!

When we were done eating, we were so into the atmosphere that we decided to order two more glasses and take them to the patio. They turned the heaters on just for us as the only ones on the patio and we enjoyed our drinks.

I am excited to go back again, I love this place!

Great food and service. They have a lot of beer and wine to choose from. We definitely will come back soon.

Cool new place for drinks, service was great and friendly. Only wish they had stuff on draft and not all just bottles.

  • *****

What a great staff. The food was wonderful and the best part was The host, I think his name is John, he was lively and the best part of the whole experience.

We came upon this place by default because we couldn't get in across the street at twenty88. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly! The place is cozy and comfortable. We tried a little bit of everything from the house wine, homemade soup, salads, entre and cheesecake. Everything was terrific. The quality of the food was great and the owner was very fun and made it easy for us to hang around a while. He even let us hold his Emmy award! Lol. We will definitely be back!

  • *****

Great atmosphere and great food. Our server was great and let us know of a few of the specials that were not on the regular menu.
They have a huge list of beer and wine to choose from... all of the beers are craft beers so this is a nice find in Camarillo.

I love the staff, the food here is amazing but the staff is wonderful. I especially loved the guy in the baseball cap, I think his name is John, he was so much fun and made our dining experience amazing!!!

Great place for a casually upscale lunch or dinner. Also good for small parties (8-20) people. Burgers are Aplus

  • *****

Food was very good, although the lamb chops could have used garlic and some sort of sauce, like a mint chutney or a Cabernet reduction. The blackened scallop salad was spot on and the chocolate truffles were the best I've ever had. Good beer selection, great ambiance. The place was pretty slow while we were there and we thought the service was great. We sat at the bar and interacted with 5 different staff members and found them all polite and pleasant. I fear however that they do not have the capacity to serve a busy crowd. They appeared to only have a high end hot plate that could only hold 2 skillets at a time and a small pizza oven.

Nice ambience, nice patio very unique good selection of beers ! Good service ! Glad we came upon it.

Our new favorite place for quality food, great wine and a wonderful staff. 805 Pour is relatively new in Old town Camarillo but is already one of the few quality restaurants in Camarillo.

The fact they turn the LA Kings on the tube and play lots of Beatles and Eagles music is not so bad either.

It's worth the time and effort to come in for a great time and a wonderful meal.

  • *****

Fabulous! My hubby and I shared the Kobe burger. Absolutely delicious! Richard the chef is fun and a great chef. We are adding this to our regular rotation. It may just become our favorite. Highly recommend. I can't believe it's the first time we've been here!!

  • *****

Nice selection of beers and a curated wine list. There's a good vibe about this place

  • *****

Love this place! Intimate atmosphere and our waited/host John was awesome. We came as a group of 6 and he remembered all our names and split or check perfectly!!!

  • *****

After hearing about this place my wife and I had to check it out. It is super cute and has a friendly and fun vibe. The food was really good, but it was the service that really stood out. Our waiter was super nice and both the chef and the owner (Danny) came over during our meal to find out if we were enjoying everything.

I saw a few people made negative comments about their service and the attitude of the owner, but our experience was totally positive. We will definitely go back next time we are in Camarillo.

I never write reviews, but traveling through California must have me inspired! My friends took me to their favorite local place, The 805 Pour House, and we has an absolute blast! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting and the owners, a married couple, stopped by our table and were just so generous and sweet! They created a feeling of a real family-run place which made the night extra special. Also, I'm a real foodie and super hard to please, but from the staff to the food to the drinks, I just loved this place and will come back for sure!

Great outdoor patio, and delicious wine!

  • *****

There is no question that The 805 Pour House offers a unique, eclectic, warm and "lounge-like" feel, accompanied by extraordinary food and an incredible range of craft beers and killer wines. They even have flavored Sake "Martinis". They taste AMAZING, but watch out because they are very very strong!! Also, the thing I keep hearing is how attached people get to this very cool place... almost in a way one grows close to a best friend. Oh, and did I say the food was beyond amazing?!!

As we were were headed down the 101 we stubbled across this beautiful restaurant. We were looking for a pub or gastro pub and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Not only was the owner attentive and hospitable, but we had delicious food and wine! The owner, Dan is hospitable, friendly, and committed to each guests experience. The Wild Mushroom Pizza with Chimmichura sauce added was incredible. We would highly recommend this quant bistro.

Went in as soon as they opened for business in the morning. The staff was very inviting and pleasant. The waitress was very attentive. They have an impressive beer selection.

  • *****

The staff and food are wonderful! Great place to have some wine and food. The Ahi tuna Poke was amazing.

Always yummy food..appetizers or dinner! Love the personalized attention! Thanks for always making us feel special Andrew & John! miss Bella wine, but have good alternatives.

P.s. ... Danny deserves a big thanks too... he works very hard!

I love The 805 Pour House. The food and service is awesome. The chef is amazing. I'm so happy to be working with Dan. The chef is an amazing person. I'm so glad to have my job back.

My family has been coming to this wine bar restaurant for several years during which time it has gone through a few ownership changes. This is a total Cheers experience. Great reasonably priced food, warm surroundings and amazing helpful staff. New ownership has made subtle physical changes that have elevated the experience. Just about any item on the inventive wine bar menu is prepared with high quality by uber chef Andrew Pedroza. Go for the experience not to catch a flight. Places like this are about the people. Recently, we marveled at server Brooke's friendly smile while being slammed on a busy Sat nite, or manager John Ragan working the room like a master-of-ceremonies and on many days you may see owner Dan Boden discussing his vision and welcoming you to have a decent experience. He might let you pose with one of his tv production Emmy's. For those who feel a dining experience should be a personal one then you will do well at this gem in Old-Town Camarillo.

I had a wonderful spinach salad and a nice house wine. Fun and cute. We had a retirement party here. Owners are very nice and fun! Great place with good service and excellent food!

My colleagues and I love coming here to relax over a brew and appetizers. The ambiance is warm, intimate, and inviting. One thing I really like is that no matter what end of the restaurant you sit at, there's something interesting to look at. You can people watch along Ventura Road , watch the chefs cook up your meal in the open kitchen, or take in a beautiful mountain view.

The owners, management, and service are friendly without being fake. They seem genuinely interested in your enjoyment.

One fun tidbit about the place: the owner, Dan, won an Emmy Award and the statue floats about from table to table. It's pretty cool to handle it and take selfies with your friends.

Happy hour specials are great. Who doesn't love a $3 beer?! I love the Margherita pizza; the crust is authentically thin and crisp and the buffalo mozzarella is scrumptiously cheesy. The ingredients are clearly high quality. No greasy stuff here! One thing I would love to see is a few beers on tap, but I have a feeling it won't be long. They've only been open since October 2015.

We look forward to our next visit here nezt month. Keep it up!

Did the little things amazingly well. The pizza crust was hand made with a great texture and their house wine is a very good Zin from Pasa Robles (for $5.00 during happy hour). Quite a notch above other local fare. I hope they make it, but don't become too successful, I like the relaxed vibe.

This place is way better than the Bella winery place in my opinion. The owner is Kool and is funny. He said that he has plans to make the basement into a underground comedy cellar. If that's true that's exactly what Camarillo needs.
    So exited for this place

Great date night!!! Loved the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. So glad I wasn't influenced by previous review. Great place!! Everyone should try this place...and side note "John" the manager was very friendly, accommodating and delightful ! We will be back again!! Yummy!!

My husband and I decided to check this place out after he picked me up from the train station one weekday evening. We had a perfectly lovely time. The ambiance is very nice. Good music/sound system, nicely decorated. Our server John was pleasant and attentive. The house red wine was super good. I wish I could remember what it was. A Paso Zin I think. We ordered the goat cheese pizza (YUM), skirt steak appetizer, and citrus crab toast. The pizza and skirt steak I would get again; the crab toast I'd skip.

    Recommend! Cheers!

My wife and I discovered this spot while attending a wedding near by. All we could say after eating and drinking here is we hope to come back someday from Connecticut. Just a cool vibe, attentive staff (John was great), and most importantly delicious food. We loved the goat cheese pizza, and the crab cakes were better than any I have had on the east coast. We aren't wine connoisseurs but the staff recommended some nice choices and educated us in a friendly way. The people watching was fun too. Just an overall solid spot!

Such an incredibly cool find! The food is amazing. The environment is so eclectic, visual and warm. Everyone there seems to be having a great time... all of the time. Very chill owners. Very chill atmosphere, yet a very New York City lounge-style atmosphere to it. The chef is amazing. He's the coolest most talented guy you'll ever meet. Five stars on this secret find.
